May Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!!

Thank you for stopping by to enjoy our May Stamp of the Month
Blog Hop featuring this month's SOTM:
Pinwheel S1305!

If you've just arrived here from
MICHELLE's BLOG
then you are on the correct path.

First, I'm sharing this standard-size Pinwheel Flower card (above) that I created with this stamp set and our NEW Dream Pop papers (The National Scrapbooking Month special available now)!
The pinwheel is made with two 2.25" squares of black cardstock layered on top of each other and eight 1x1" squares of patterned paper. I stamped the center pinwheel part of the flower with Cotton Candy ink, cut it out, and then sponge daubed it's edges with Slate ink. The stem was cut from Dream Pop embossed Cardstock with the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge at 4". The chevron patterned element at the bottom was stamped with one of my latest favorites...the "In The Background" stamp set D1540.

Next, I'm sharing another standard-size card (above) that I created with this stamp set and the Tommy papers (X7169B). While I am absolutely thrilled to have the fun Pinwheel images included in this SOTM set, the star images that also come with it are ideal for creating the perfect Patriotic card as well, just in time for Memorial Day and the 4th of July!

Finally, here's a view of all of the images included in this Stamp Set:
(and remember, the images that are outlined in red are the ones that have
a corresponding shape that can be cut using the Cricut Artiste cartridge! fun fun!)

Now you can continue on with our Blog Hop to be inspired by more creativity using this stamp set by visiting MARIA's BLOG next!
Enjoy the hop!!

Nice card! Love how you used the pinwheel technique as a background for the pinwheel image. Genius! Also really like your use of colors and patterns.

I've been staring at your card trying to figure out how you did that in the background - helps to read! Love this! Great idea! I'm gonna scraplift this!
