My January Workshops (featuring Charlotte!!)

Happy New Year!!
I am over-the-moon excited about the all-NEW

(not just collect!) your scrapbooking products.

For $26.95 (plus tax and s/h)
each monthly kit will allow you to create:

12x12 layout #2

12x12 layout #3

Picture My Life (pocket pages) layout #4

PLUS, 9 cards (3 each of 3 designs)!

The scrapbook pages go together so quickly and easily since they now include stickers and chipboard die-cuts to embellish your pages with (instead of stamping). You will find that you can complete all of these items in just a few hours
(approximately 2-3 hours for the 8 pages
and 1 hour for the 9 cards that
do involve a little bit of stamping).

Starting January 1st, you can begin ordering this kit
to use at my upcoming workshop dates in January!!

1). Simply visit my website at

2). Click on the "JOIN" button in the
bottom right corner to begin shopping
from my "January Workshop Orders!" gathering.

3). Add the "Workshops Your Way" Charlotte Scrapbooking
Kit (item #G1104) to your shopping cart to place the order at
least one week before the workshop date you plan to attend!

Your kit will ship directly to you (or any address you enter) via FedEx and/or the U.S. Postal Service (please note that it has been my experience that orders placed using the "SmartPost" option can take a little longer to arrive, so the extra three dollars in shipping cost really isn't much IF you need to be sure it arrives faster using the $7.95 FedEx shipping option). You can purchase any additional items you want to, but I will have "on hand" all of the adhesive, stamps, inks, tools, card bases, and memory protectors you might need, available for you to use and/or purchase during all of my upcoming workshop dates.

If you would prefer to not shop online,
then simply get $32 cash/check (per kit)
to me at least a week before you plan to
attend so I can get your kit ordered for you!
(This price is "rounded up" and includes a few cents more than
the actual cost with the tax and s/h added. I will donate the
extra 27 cents to Operation Smile, our affiliated charity).

Tell and invite your friends!!
because you also have the option to
split/share a kit with a friend (just $16 each!)
if you can agree on how to divide it up, lol.

4). Then JOIN US at any of my upcoming workshop dates/times to complete your pages with my assistance. I will "show you how" to follow the "easy" cutting guide and share all of the latest tips, tricks, and techniques with you, to help you get your pages and cards created quickly and beautifully!

In January, I am offering 4 different workshop
dates/times for you to choose from including:
Friday 1/8 (6pm-9pm)
Saturday 1/9 (1pm-5pm)
Friday 1/29 (6pm-9pm)
Saturday 1/30 (1pm-5pm)
*If something comes up that prevents you
from being able to attend in January, you are always
welcome to come and use your workshop kit with me in
February when I will be offering 4 more workshop dates
(and a new kit option also).
**The WYW (Workshops Your Way) kits do come complete
with an assembly guide you can download and print once purchased,
so you will easily be able to create all of the page layouts
at home on your own if you would prefer to do that also!

Are you a card-maker only?
I haven't forgotten you!!

You are also invited to any/all of
these workshop dates to participate
in my monthly "Card Buffet!"

Come when you want,
stay as long as you want,
and make as many as you want
(a little or a lot) for
just $1.50 per card!
(bring/purchase your own adhesive to use
and please RSVP, as space is limited).

These are the new cards I will have for you to
choose from the "buffet" in January 2016:

Lastly, I am very excited to announce my
NEW Consistency Club!!

It's simple...join me every month for 6 months

Our December Class Creations!!

Happy December everyone!!
This month I'm offering two different class dates/times
for you to choose from, as well as one scrapbooking project
and a large variety of cards you can make with me!
There's still time to get a few hand-made
Christmas cards done and ready to give!

Friday, December 11th (6-9pm)
and/or
Saturday, December 12th (1pm-5pm)
Please RSVP asap as space is limited
to no more than 10 guests on each date.

First, I'm showing you the FRAME IT UP!
(for Christmas) Scrapbooking Class page you can make...
This is a class/kit that I recently started offering that allows you to  change the page in this cute shadow-box frame each month to fit the current holiday/season! The class fee is $35 (the first time you attend) for a framed 12x12 decorative layout in a beautiful easy-to-change wall frame (your choice of Black or Colonial White frame)!

Then, additional classes/kits are JUST $7 for each additional single 12x12 page. In January we will create a Love/Valentine-themed page you can display in the same frame for just $7 and so on. For $5 more ($12 total), you have the option to create a simple 12x12 companion page also that coordinates with the framed page, so you can complete a two-page spread to add into an album when you are done displaying the single page in your frame.

Here's a closer view of this month's page so you can see the fun paper ruffle and dimensionality of the embellishments...

Next, I'm showing you some of the most recent card designs I've added to my variety of "Card-making Buffet" options. I try to design at least four new cards each month for you to choose from, but I have many leftover kits (pre-stamped) from prior months to choose from as well. I pre-cut all of the paper elements for each card and package them in little clear envelopes to create little "ready-to-stamp-and-assemble-kits" that you can purchase (for just $1.50 per card!) You simply choose the ones you want to make and create them with me during class time. Create just a few or a whole bunch (it's up to you)! Learn a variety of fun stamping techniques while adding just the cards you want and need to your own stash/collection for future mailing/giving.

Focus on Stamping Techniques Blog Hop!

THANK YOU for stopping by to enjoy our
Focus on Stamping Techniques Blog Hop!

Today, 18 consultant artists are sharing artwork
they've created using products from Close to my Heart
and a variety of stamping techniques!

If you've just arrived here from JACQUELIN's BLOG,
then you are on the correct path.

The techniques I'm featuring today are
two of my favorites that I tend to use a lot...
Coloring with markers and
Paper-piecing (layering)!

First, here are two standard-size cards I created (above) using the Sangria paper pack
and the December Stamp of the Month - Candlelight Garden (S1512).

These are the marker colors (above) that I used to color in my pretty flower bouquet.
Notice that (below) I used the two shades of yellow to color in the largest flower. I also used the Colorless Blender Marker (Z2469) to pick up color from the tips of the Cherry Pink and Peony Purple markers to color those flowers in a lighter shade before tracing directly with the fine tip of the colored markers to get the darker shades that outline the flowers.

Notice how I stamped an extra lid on a piece of scrap paper (above) and then cut part of it
out to be adhered over the top of the jar (below). This allows the jar and lid to look more
realistic. I then colored in part of the lid and traced the jar with the Warm Grey marker
(shown below).

Finally, you can see how I used the paper-piecing and layering technique again here (below)
to stamp a candle with a patterned design. Notice how I stamped not only the candle on the
patterned paper, but also the jar with the string so that the candle will have the string
stamped through its middle to maintain the appearance that the candle is inside the jar
once its paper-pieced in place.

Just make sure that when you stamp the candle again inside the jar on your Colonial White
piece of cardstock (shown below), that you stamp it so that the line of the string is as close to
the middle (center) of the candle as you can get it, so that when you adhere the candle on top
of its own image, the string will line up just right in the center.

Lastly, here's a glimpse at all of the images that are included in the
December Stamp of the Month - Candlelight Garden (S1512):

I hope you've learned something new from the
artwork and techniques I've shared today!
I am the last of 18 consultant artists that are
participating in this Blog Hop. You can start
at the beginning of the Hop again by going to
MELISSA's BLOG next! Enjoy!!

My November Class Creations!

So, the month of November has just been flying by
and I realized that I hadn't yet been able to share any
of the artwork I created for my November "Frame It Up"
Scrapbooking Class and my November Card Classes!
So here they are...enjoy!!

This single 12x12 Fall page design was inspired by the Annual Inspirations Idea Book (page 118).  The papers I used were some of the leftover retired papers I had in my stash (Pathfinding and Flirty).  All of the stamps I used and most of the cuts were made using the Cricut Artistry collection (fall images on page 44).  The wreath was cut from Olive cardstock at 10.75".  The Desert Sand leaves (dry embossed and sanded) were cut at 3".  The Goldrush (Flirty patterned paper) and Chocolate leaf pieces were cut at 2.75".  Lastly, the acorns and acorn caps were cut from the Cricut Art Philosophy collection (page 36) at 1" and 1.25" from Desert Sand and Chocolate cardstock.  Ink colors I used include Chocolate, Desert Sand, and Glacier.

...and here are the four card designs
(below) that I offered for Card Class!
These cards use the White Pines
and Sangria paper collections...

Happy Fall and Thanksgiving everyone!!
